Adore Me: Late Fall Palette

Hey everyone! Long time no post, huh? There has been quite a lot going on in my life, but before we get into that ramble (another post will follow) I wanted to share with you my favorite late fall makeup  must-haves and apparel from a brand I'm obsessing over, Adore Me. A color that I love and have been seeing a lot of lately has been the dark purple/plum color. From lipsticks to active wear, I find that the dark plum color is my go-to color for the season. I also think its a great transition color from fall to winter. And obviously black goes without saying.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I like to organize my clothes, including my panties, by season (I know, I'm weird). Although I love lace all year round, I tend to have more laced items during fall and winter. I think it's because I feel like my figure is hidden by cozy layers (some people like that, but I'm not one) so it's like a little mood booster when I take off my layers to reveal some sexy lace--like unwrapping your favorite candy. Wearing lace under all my layers also gives me an odd feeling of empowerment, it's like having a superpower that no one knows about until you reveal it to them (of course at your own will). You know, like in those movies when it's snowing outside and the girl shows up at the guy's place in a peacoat wearing nothing but lace lingerie underneath? I know I can't be the only one who fantasizes about that, am I? Here I go getting awkward again...let's move on to makeup.

It is absolutely necessary to have a neutral palette, not just during fall and winter, but always. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. I love the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia BH. I also love a bold red lip, but during this season the darker the better. However, vampy makeup isn't always practical, in which case I like to pick one facial feature to accentuate, usually my eyes, and since I don't want an incomplete makeup look I opt for a light neutral lipstick shade like the Lancome one below.

I hope you all enjoyed this post, it's been a long time since I've done any fashion related posts--maybe it's time to bring them back? Let me know what you think. Also, I'd love to know what you think of the brand Adore Me so feel free to leave comments.
